COACH OF THE MASTER'S PROGRAM
My name is Heather Gerhardt. I met my amazing husband Jeff at church in San Diego, CA, and after a short courtship, we were married at 20 years of age. Within two years we had two daughters, 15 months apart, and had moved to Riverside, CA, to attend school at California Baptist University. I was able to work from home and raise our daughters. We led worship together and served at church for ten years in Riverside before moving to Orange County, CA.
When our daughters were 8 and 9, we were surprised to learn we had another family member on the way. Zach was born in 2006. We then moved to Switzerland for 3 years for my husbands’ job and while there we had another son named Jacob. He is our “Swiss souvenir.” After returning home to California, we started attending The Master’s Program with Bob and Cheri Shank, and our lives began to be transformed.
Through a series of events, including a trip to Israel, we were led to leave everything we had behind and move to Texas to help launch a ministry to the persecuted church in the Middle East. We have now been in North Texas for 8 years, married off both of our daughters and continue to raise our two sons, now 17 and 14. During our years here, Jeff began teaching The Master’s Program and through that, God gave us a dream to host DreamMaster retreats for couples who want to dream together to see what God might have in store for them for the kingdom. We sold our home in a residential neighborhood and bought 6 acres just outside city limits and began building a retreat center to host these weekends. My primary focus now is building out our property, co-leading DreamMaster with my husband Jeff, and raising our sons to relentlessly pursue Jesus.
My second passion is to pour into women encouragement, boldness and to instill the belief that they were made for purpose in the kingdom, to store up treasure in heaven, and to believe that what we do here on Earth affects how we will live in eternity! I do that through leading bible studies and teaching The Master’s Program for women.
