Rob Dayton

National Director of Coaches & TMP Coach, Santa Barbara

For more than 30 years, Rob Dayton has helped public and private organizations and individuals be more effective and achieve goals by getting focused on objectives and being honest about challenges.

Trained in urban planning at USC, Rob began his career as a transportation and environmental consultant in Los Angeles. Then, he moved to the City of Santa Barbara where he served as a senior City Public Works official as well as an informal role as “Culture Coach.”  His completion of the foundations of The Master’s Program in 2007 transformed Rob’s thinking about his role in government and how to leverage his influence.

In 2011, Rob and his wife Nancy co-founded the Santa Barbara House of Prayer – a prayer and unification strategy for the Church of Santa Barbara. At that same time, they also opened a restaurant and bar on Santa Barbara’s main street to share a space with the prayer house. Continuing in these roles, in 2015 Rob added coaching TMP in Santa Barbara and now the San Luis Obispo area to create the kingdom thinking and culture needed for city transformation. In 2020, Rob was asked to lead TMP in the role of the National Director of Coaches for the men. Rob and Nancy live in Santa Barbara, California, and have a son and daughter.

In 2021, Rob started an Organizational Health business (StrategicCulture.com) where he uses his 30+ years of government organizational experience to help other cities and private organizations to align and motivate their people to create work cultures that multiply success.

“The Master’s Program has exceeded all of my expectations and is now the foundation for which my family and I will spend our time and focus as we implement this game-changing curriculum. The tools and presentation of the Program are simply best in class. What an amazing ride! I only wish I would have done this many years earlier.”
