How’s your Sabbath?
There’s nothing like being in a beautiful place like Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. To say, “Wow, God, you make things beautiful.” I am really excited to be here in this beautiful place. And just thinking about all that God’s done because within the last 24 hours, we’ve graduated 12 men from The Master’s Program (El Plan Maestro) here in Mexico.
It’s incredible to have seen these entrepreneurs, medical professionals, business owners that have decided that they’re going for it all in – all in their careers, their families, and the kingdom calling that God’s got for them. It’s incredible. I am just blown away hearing all that God did over the three years that they were in this program. And man, it was a privilege to just be here and have the opportunity to hear those stories.
By the way, right now, as I’m filming this, we have women in The Master’s Program for Women here that are doing the same thing. Incredible.
You know, you get to a place like this and you think to yourself, “God, this is beautiful.” “What are you trying to communicate to me?” You’ve got to be planning Sabbath and making sure you’re protecting Sabbath. You know, in Session 3 of The Master’s Program, we talk a lot about how the advantage of our time comes through banking in a seventh of our time to really get into those are “re” words: remember those “re” words are the ones such as refreshed, renew, reconnect, recalibrate… read. And in that process, having strategic thoughts.
It’s like what my friend Rob Dayton likes to say, “it’s like a submarine that comes to the top of the water.” And a periscope moment where we say, Okay, where was I for the last week? Where am I going next week? And am I heading in the right direction, so that when I go back down into the water for the week, Monday through Saturday, the next six days, I’m on purpose, and I’m going with intent to that next location?
Have you spent some time in Sabbath? Don’t wait until you’re in a beautiful place like this, where you’re on vacation? Sure, we need that vacation time. But that can’t be our only Sabbath. We’ve got to find ways to get that “baked into our calendar” so that every week with strategy, we’re moving forward with the thing that God put in us to do. Hey, we are here to see amazing things happen in the kingdom.
In fact, I was sitting with one of our partners here in Mexico, Dave Waters, who leads this Puerto Vallarta class, and he was saying, hey, a Door Opener, Joey Goss, helped us to get into Puerto Vallarta. Maybe there’s men or women in our Master’s Program community that would say, “Hey, I’m a Door Opener in Costa Rica.”
We want to go there next. What’s amazing is that we’re seeing that The Master’s Program in other cultures and other languages, is enabling leaders in this movement that you and I are already in. To say that God created us on purpose – the things he made us to do in the marketplace – we can make a difference in the kingdom – we can make a difference in our families. So I would encourage you.
By the way, if you have some connection to Costa Rica, hit us up here; we’d love to get that information from you and connect you to our team down here.
But beyond that, are you getting Sabbath? Are you getting some time for you with which to say, “God, I need to hear from you.” “Father, what’s the next strategic move that I need to make?” Jesus, “Am I on mission? Am I following your commands?”
The Holy Spirit helped me to see and hear things that I wouldn’t hear otherwise. Hey, when we go through the master’s program, we realize that these three years together are not a task that we check off or a certification. In fact, it’s a lifestyle for the rest of our life. I want to encourage you, if you haven’t been in The Master’s Program, you will not regret these three years that you’ll spend building a life plan. So join an online briefing, get connected to us, we would love to connect you into our community and find a cohort for you.
And if you already have or are considering just needing some ongoing coaching to continue to stay with that life plan and sharpen it up, keep on purpose. You know, one plan does not set us out for life. We need to continue to keep that plan, refine it, build it, learn some more, change some things and continue to go through things with an outcome and an endpoint that we’re certain of that we’re aiming for.
You are a leader and like me, we are looking for more leaders to join us in this movement. So send people that you want to join The Master’s Program. And if you’ve got connections with which you think in Central or South America, you know, men or women that would be door openers for us here. We want to bring The Master’s Program even further than we ever have before, because we can see that God is on the move. I’m Jeff Gerhardt. With The Master’s Program.
God bless you, stay strategic, stand with purpose.
We are in your corner!
Jeff Gerhardt
