Believe to See

Picture this: Rob and I are in Atlanta, wrapping up an intense three-day workshop at the MetaPerformance Institute. We’ve been diving deep into what it means to maximize our potential—drinking from the firehose of insights on getting out of our own way to fulfill what God created us for. It all started when we both grabbed a copy of Beyond High Performance and began unpacking its principles. As coaches in The Master’s Program, we’re no strangers to growth, but this experience has us buzzing. Rob nailed it when he said, “If a coach doesn’t have a coach, do they really believe in coaching?” We’ve been sharpening our tools, honing in on transforming mindsets to shine as lights in the world. It’s like that moment in Session 2 of TMP when we explore our power core—those God-given strengths that fuel our calling. Here, we’ve been challenged to believe bigger.

As Christian leaders, we often hit a wall: we know God’s promises, but our self-limiting beliefs keep us stuck. Think about it—how many times have we declared a vision, as bold as colonizing Mars à la Elon Musk, only to filter it through doubt? In TMP, we see this in alumni wrestling with putting Jesus’ words into practice without the right mindset. The tension? We default to “I’ll believe it when I see it,” but that’s backward. Biblical faith flips it: believe to see. Without examining our beliefs against God’s view of us, we limit the Trinity’s work. Evil creeps in through complacency—fractured marriages, addictions, poor stewardship—while we wonder why Kingdom impact feels out of reach. Why do we have so much passivity settling for less than God’s abundant life?

That’s where mindset before skillset comes in—burn it into your brain or wear it like a tattoo! As coaches in Priority Living and The Master’s Program, we’ve seen breakthroughs start here. Reference Session 3 on breakthroughs: the catalyst is often a mindset shift, challenging old assumptions for growth. Start by declaring God’s truth over your identity—examine self-limiting beliefs like, “it is what it is” against Scripture. In our MetaPerformance training, we learned to “do” from belief: believe then strategize. Love the gap between your vision and reality. Enjoy the process because God’s faithfulness proves He’ll make it all work together “EVEN IF” it totally goes differently than we expected. Leaders, replicate this: position yourself for coaching, declare boldly, and commit to the next step.  Rinse and repeat!

Imagine the ripple: a renewed mindset unlocks doors you never expected. In my journey, shifting from doubt to declaration amplified impact—mentoring Kingdom entrepreneurs, stewarding resources eternally. At Priority Living, we guide heroes like you to these transformations.  It’s radical: believe to see revival in families, marriages, and our country.  Those of you on the 30-day prayer journey are living this. We believe and pray before it comes to be! You’re equipped—let mindset mastery propel you into God’s bigger story, turning potential into Kingdom reality.

God’s not done moving mountains through you—believe it and watch Him do it again. Dive in and grab a copy of Beyond High Performance by Jason Jaggard, reflect on a limiting belief, and declare God’s truth over it this week. Email me via Priority Living—share your breakthrough, and let’s explore coaching to sharpen your mindset. What’s your first step toward living a story beyond what you could have ever hoped or imagined?

In your corner,
Jeff
