Have you ever found yourself at what you thought was the end, only to learn it was actually just the beginning and the real journey still lay ahead? I think we’ve all been there at least once in our lives. It’s the moment you think you’ve reached the peak only to turn the corner and find another hill to conquer. It’s easy to overlook our small accomplishments when our focus is only on placing the completion flag on our mountain top. There is a purpose in every step of our journey, even the smallest of steps. Some of our greatest moments of growth can come from those little moments. Each step, big or small, offers an opportunity to thank and praise Him along the way.
Mount Everest is not climbed in one day. It takes commitment, preparation, even physical training, and I would imagine a lot of prayer before one sets out to accomplish such a goal. This is why a climber will break their journey up that huge mountain into stages. We do much of the same with our journey through The Master’s Program.
Today I’d like to provide you some encouragement as you take those steps up your mountain. I’m here to tell you to GO FOR IT!
That mountain top is yours for the taking!
Have a blessed day!
