Steve Stenstrom

COACH OF THE MASTER'S PROGRAM

Steve Stenstrom is the President of Pro Athletes Outreach, a ministry that disciples and equips professional athletes to follow Jesus wholeheartedly and to live according to His plans and purposes. Prior to his call to ministry in 2001, Steve played six seasons in the NFL.

He graduated with a degree in Public Policy from Stanford University and continued post-graduate studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Steve encountered The Masters Program in 2001 just after retiring from pro football, and has embraced the TMP framework for life for over 20 years now. He recently released his first book called The 3:30 Life: Living By DESIGN Rather Than Default, which looks at the 7 words of John the Baptist in John 3:30 “He must increase, but I must decrease” and considers the amazing design and script God has for each of our lives.

Steve and his wife, Lori, have been married for more than 29 years and have raised four adult children who are each passionately following Jesus. The Stenstrom’s joyfully reside in Denver, Colorado.

“I joined The Master’s Program as a 28-year-old. I may not have been the target TMP customer: I wasn’t seasoned in my career, I didn’t have surplus money to give away, and I certainly wasn’t going through a mid-life crisis. But what I needed, I found in The Master’s Program: wisdom for the journey. Though in short supply in modern America, I found wisdom in ample supply in TMP.”
