How is your intellectual fitness?

Is it dynamic? Is it dull, or is it dead?

Have you noticed that the most challenging aspect of FOCUS is contending with information warfare? Digital Experts report that the average American is exposed to up to 10,000 or more messages a day. That’s a lot of congested traffic vying for the information highway of your brain. That is just coming from the world system.  The enemy is also masterful at throwing fiery darts of deception and corruption, hoping to take up residency in the prime real estate of our mindshare.

What is intellectual fitness? What does that look like for you? Can it be measured by IQ or EQ?

Scripture tells us that to start out on the path of understanding – we need to begin to contemplate God, catch a glimpse of Him in His magnitude.  We cannot fully comprehend Him nor the infinite mind of the divine. As we are caught up in the AWE of His wisdom and ways, this is called “the fear of the Lord.”

Proverbs 9:10 says “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.” That is just the beginning of wisdom.

What about understanding God’s calling and your purpose?

There is an ability for believers to be able to know what we need to know and discern what we do not need to know.

Romans 12:2 tells us not to align to the mindset of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Also, scripture tells us we have the mind of Christ. (1 Corinthians 2:16)

The truth becomes a plumbline. We can understand the times and seasons we are in when we walk in the wisdom of the Spirit while resisting the distractions and lies of the enemy when he wages information war for our minds.

The discerning process through increasing intellectual fitness enables us to receive the relevant information which becomes a revelation. To understand more about why your intellectual fitness is a key factor in discovering your Kingdom calling, click below to join us for a briefing.
