Some people start planning their Christmas gift-giving in January; for them, finding a place to cache their treasures in anticipation of the Christmas Eve or Morning reveal is a rational act that makes perfect sense to them…
For others, the countdown clock – “Only 13 more shopping days ‘til Christmas!” – is the ticking time-bomb that dials-up their urgency and multiplies their motivation each time the page turns to yet another of the disappearing days until Christmas. For them, tales of Yuletide Past include scenes at besieged malls where they were on-the-hunt for the “perfect gifts” from among the leftovers still waiting to find a place under someone’s tree. It’s probably the emotional turmoil brought on by the doomsday clouds hovering over the last-minute curse that drives some to finally exclaim: “Christmas has become so commercial: let’s forget the gifts next year and just enjoy the holiday!”
Maybe that mirrors the approach people take to their year-end charitable gift-giving. Some feel no angst about the matter: their stewardship has been practiced with intent and precision throughout the calendar year. December is yet-another month of practiced fiscal faithfulness. For many, delaying the bulk of their Kingdom distributions allows them to know their own financial status coming up to the year-end before they allocate monies to their eternal investments – just in time to qualify for that year’s tax deductibility.
Surveys suggest that this latter group may be the majority of the minority: amongst the Americans who are citizens of Heaven through faith in Jesus, less than 20% are responsible for 80% of the funding that supports church and parachurch ministries. And, for that elite category of Gospel Patrons, the last month of the year is the time when a lions-share of their distributions to non-profits will take place. Talk about turning up the pressure: some of the most significant long-term decisions made on Earth are often made with a looming deadline, against the backdrop of Christmas and New Year holiday experiences that demand presence and engagement. Are you feeling your pulse increase, just thinking about it?
Let me offer you an incredible option that may be one of the most unusual solutions to this God-imposed challenge. How beneficial would it be for you to find a well-managed venture fund that is helping to position strategic leadership contributions to causes that represent a broad swath of things that are being done in service to the Kingdom today, from hometown neighborhoods in America to far-flung exotic locales where the Gospel is just arriving to offer redemption and restoration, 2000 years after Jesus sent His followers to deliver the Good News to the lost race. What’s the name of that fund?
The Master’s Program has been serving the Kingdom by developing and deploying Christian leaders – whose careers range from the marketplace to the ministry – in keeping with their Callings. Today, after 25 years working with leaders, thousands of TMP graduates are serving the cause of Christ with passion and leverage with their sights set on 100x results. Some have made Calling their Career; for most, their Kingdom role runs on a parallel track, alongside their income producing efforts (that’s nothing new; Paul was both Apostle and tentmaker, integrating both into a high-impact life)!
In the S&P 500 companies in America, the average CEO is paid 324 times more than the median paid to their staffs. Free markets compensate leaders – based on their ability to create value – with huge multipliers. In the service to the Kingdom, leaders create immense value in accomplishing the mission. The difference: their true compensation will not be realized until the Judgment Seat of Christ.
Here’s the deal: smart investors in God’s Kingdom realize the multiplier effect of placing well prepared leaders into roles that serve the Great Commandment and Great Commission – God’s Kingdom Purpose. Contributions made to The Master’s Program advance that strategic agenda. Great returns!
You’ve got some really important Christmas demands right now: your work family and your home family both expect you to show your affection through your Christmas giving. You need to get on that, right now!
As you do that, my gift, to you: click here to go to our secure page and make one of the most strategic year-end contribution investments you could ever make. Help TMP end 2022 with our reserves restored and our ministry poised to serve the Kingdom in 2023 through investing – on your behalf – in the next wave of high-impact Kingdom leaders whose VITA includes the mentoring received in alignment with their divine Calling, in TMP.
Here’s the reality: most of the Christmas gifts you give this year will be forgotten soon. In contrast, strategic gifts to the Kingdom – the ones that result in 100x fruit that will last (Jesus’ promise) – will be rewarded, not forgotten, when you arrive in your Eternal Home. This is high-stakes reality…
You know what you should do; can we help you do it?
